WHY CAN I NOT USE REGULAR DETERGENT TO CLEAN MY TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT?

Detergents used for washing everyday clothes are not developed for cleaning garments with technical fabrics with membrane.

The use of detergents in powder or liquid detergents can obstruct membranes and damage clothing breathability and waterproofing.

Detergents for delicate textiles are developed for cleaning wool clothing, silk, etc... fabrics with properties very different to those of motor biker's garments. These detergents are not developed for cleaning oil, grease or pollution.

Our recommendation for textile garments is to use Textile Cleaner for a deep cleaning and Textile Protector for waterproofing.

For leather garments our recommendation is to use Leather Cleaner for cleaning and hydrating and Leather Protector for waterproofing.
